Ken and Donna Phillips, 50th anniversary

Dr. and Mrs. Ken Phillips of 204 Orchard Park Drive, Neshannock Township, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at their residence on Sunday afternoon, May 20, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The couple has stipulated no gifts. Donations may be made in their names to the City Rescue Mission, 319 S. Croton Ave.
The late Rev. Delbert Jolley, former pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Decker Drive, officiated at the couple's wedding on May 14, 1968. After 10 years in Pennsylvania, they moved to Ohio, Iowa and Massachusetts. They returned to Pennsylvania in 2002.
Dr. Phillips is Professor Emeritus of The University of Iowa, and Donna Phillips is former Director of Concern for Women, a crisis pregnancy center in Iowa City.
Their immediate family consists of four children: James (deceased), Sandra, Pete and Gerry Lee; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends and family are cordially invited to attend the open house.
